Detailed Freight Car Diagrams from the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy – the Burlington Route. This book is updated to 1967 and includes diagrams for freight cars: box cars, insulated box cars, stock cars, ballast cars, mill gondolas, covered hoppers, open hoppers, Airslides, flat cars, bulk flats, dump cars, tank cars, refrigerator cars and cabooses. Each car type is further broken down by series with many diagrams for each series. Diagrams in this book are marked as updated at various times from 1945 through 1967. The 148 diagrams are complimented by 70 pages of index that detail car series and changes by car number in each series. The index is extremely detailed showing equipment assigned to cars and more.

This is a scan of an original CB&Q diagram book. A few of the older blueprint diagrams were quite washed out. The original diagram size is 8.5 inches by 3.75 inches. This scan is blown up by 25% for increased readability.
