The Milwaukee Road’s Terre Haute Division ran from Chicago (Franklin Park) to Seymour in Southern Indiana. This track chart is updated to 1968, abandoned trackage is still represented, just with a notation of the date of the abandonment, so we get to see the historical easternmost point for the Milwaukee Road, Westport, Indiana (the line shows as abandoned in 1961). The line to Westport made the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific the transcontinental railroad that made it the farthest east.

Southern Indiana had many stone quarries and the Milwaukee Road had several stone branches that are included. Also included is the branch line from Delmar Junction to Joliet, going through Momence and Peotone.
